Brick Restoration
Facade Alterations
Cheltenham Brewery
About the Project
In 2005 our brief was to clad and align two internal facades to join the existing facades to create a Tower. The North and East cornices and brickwork had never previously aligned up, neither had the South and West so the challenge was to line the tower up on all for sides and create the effect that the tower was always one. The difficult part was that NE corner and SW corner were way off target so we had to throw the levels away and play it to the eye. This is what brick restoration is all about.
For the re-build we used the bricks salvaged from the demolition of other surrounding buildings that made the space for the new Cinema and leisure complex now known as The Brewery Quarter.
